To guard against sewer damage during floods, we will be relocating vulnerable infrastructure outside of creek areas.
New sewer pipeline will be installed outside of the creek areas in the Lake Forest I and Lake Forest II communities using trenchless boring techniques and traditional open cut trenching.
Construction is expected to begin in June 2025 and be completed in summer 2026. Please return to this site for updates as they occur.

Improvements to the watershed will also be made, including the installation of 12 riprap check dams.
Some access routes will be improved for easier maintenance of existing and new sewer facilities.
Compacted gravel will be used on paths along the creeks to maintain the natural aesthetics of the area.
Tree removal will be minimized as part of the project design.
