Water shortage rate calculator

IRWD’s Water Shortage Contingency Plan (WSCP), adopted in June 2021, allows the District to strategically reduce water use through a number of potential actions that are staged depending upon the severity of water shortages. The WSCP incorporates six standard water shortage levels beginning with Level 1 and corresponding to progressive ranges of up to 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, and greater shortages (Level 6).
